Facebook network for Thai people in Israel

Online social networks have become an important mean of communication for people as they allow people to communicate and exchange information in a short period of time.  The Royal Thai Embassy in Tel-Aviv has, therefore, created two accounts on Facebook, a popular online social network, to help its public relations service for Thai people in Israel.

The two accounts are Facebook Group under the name of Royal Thai Embassy in Tel-Aviv and Fan-page Group under the name of “Tuk Rueang Mueang Yew”.

The two accounts are the means for the Royal Thai Embassy to communicate, exchange news, monitor movement and inform facts about its service to Thai people and visitors in Israel.

Labour Section of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel-Aviv and the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel-Aviv jointly opened the Facebook accounts to provide another channel to serve and protect Thai workers in the country. Workers and job-seekers can also search for information and inquire about benefits under Israeli laws, make a complaint about benefits under Israeli laws via these accounts.

Thai workers are encouraged to become members of these Facebook accounts so they can be informed of updated news, inquire about labour and consul works, exchange opinions about work in Israel, and make recommendation to the Royal Thai Embassy. The Royal Thai Embassy in Tel-Aviv is willing to listen to opinions and heed recommendations of Thai people.
