  • Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol emphasized for the new government officials in batch 23, to be committed to performing their duties and competent civil servants who perform official duties for the benefit of the people and the nation.

  • Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Viwat Jiraphanvanich was chairman of the Labour Welfare Committee Meeting No. 6/2019. The meeting considered the 120 measures in the petition from 3 employees of the International Research Corporation PCL and 4 employees from Nichirei World Co., Ltd.

  • Legal Advisor Mr. Somphob Prabnarong as chairman of the committee meeting to consider the draft law of the Ministry of Labour No. 16/2019, at the Legal Division, 11th floor, Ministry of Labour.

  • Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul presided over the meeting of the working group to set guidelines for budget allocation and follow up on the results of the project to resolve occupational issues no. 3/2019. The meeting considered the budget allocation, money transfer and project to resolve occupational issues for the third time in 2019.

  • Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Viwat Jiraphanvanich chaired the meeting of the Committee on Occupational Safety, Health and Working Environment No. 5/2019. The meeting considered the draft Ministerial Regulation for the arrangement of safety officers in the workplace, which are personnel, agencies or individuals.

  • Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul presided over the 2019 Annual Budget Expense Management and Tracking Committee for the Office of the Permanent Secretary no. 6/2019. The meeting discussed the monitoring of budget disbursement for 2019, tracking expense overlaps before the 2019 fiscal year and allocating budget from the reserve.

  • The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Somsak Apiwantakul followed up on the performance of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Prachuap Khiri Khan, following the government’s annual audit plan for 2019, whereby heads of relevant government agencies participated in the clarification and reporting.

  • Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol chaired the opening ceremony of a job fair in honour of the royal institution at Udon Thani Hall, 4th floor, Central Plaza, Udon Thani.The event hosted many activities, such as meeting with workers, recruiting employees with over 3,500 job vacancies.

  • Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul presided over the meeting together with ILO, EU and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, implemented the Sustainable Supply Chain Development Project in Asia, in Thailand. 

  • Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol recoded the “Clear-Cut, Chudjane” program on accelerating the labour movement following the ASEAN consensus. The recording took place at the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT), Channel 11, and will air on July 9, 2019, at 16.00 to 16.30 hours.
