Inspection of Port In – Port Out Controlling Center in Satul


On the 15th July 2015, the Ministry of Labour’s inspector Mr. Suradech Waleeittikul alongside the Department of Skills Development's inspector Mr. Prateep Somglamyong, the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s inspector Mr. Somsak Pirinyawomg and committee, travelled to follow-up on the situation on issues and measures to prevent human trafficking in fisheries within Satul province. The inspectors met with Satul provincial unit chiefs in affiliation to the Ministry of Labour to understand the progress, problems and obstacles in operating the Port In - Port Out (PIPO) Controlling Center in Satul. The meeting took place at the meeting room within the provincial Social Security Office. From there the inspectors visited and gave words of encouragement to officers at the Port In - Port Out (PIPO) Controlling Center in Satul at the aquaculture checkpoint of Satul (Tammalang) and the Fish Marketing Organization in Muaeng district of Satul. In the afternoon, the inspectors visited the sub-center (Pakbara) and the Pla Narongchai pier in La-ngu district. The Ministry of Labour’s inspector and committee’s visit on this occasion gave motivation and encouragement to chiefs and officers in of the Ministry of Labour’s units in Satul.
