On 7 July 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Singhadet Chu-umnart joined the Senior Labour Officials Meeting on ASEAN High – Level Policy Dialogue on Women Migrant Workers in the ASEAN Economic Community. The meeting was organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower in collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat, UN Women and the FES. The meeting was a stage to exchange ideas on policy regarding labour economics and women in ASEAN. Participants also included ASEAN employer organizations, ASEAN employee organization and the international organizations. The Deputy Permanent Secretary joined in the exchange of ideas and experiences on promoting employment opportunities, working conditions, skills development and social protection of women migrant workers in the Thai construction industry.
