On October 6, 2022, at 10.00 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, to preside over the Labour Resolution Subcommittee Meeting No. 1/2022 via Zoom Meeting. The Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, also joined the meeting. The meeting considered approaches to solving unresolved labour issues and progress in implementing the unresolved labour policy proposals: 1) The government must make amendments to the Social Security Act B.E. 2533 and the Compensation Act B.E. 2537; 2) The progress of measures or policies to prevent unfair dismissal and provide measures to support fair termination of employment for workers or employees; 3) The progress of payment of wages for women on 98 days of maternity leave. The occasion took place at the Prasong Rananant Meeting Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
