On August 16, 2022, at 09.30 hours, the Ministry of Labour’s Chief Inspector-General, Mr. Phuma Thammakul, joined in the monitoring and follow-up meeting of the Subcommittee for Monitoring the Performance of Drug Prevention and Suppression No. 3/2022 (central provinces) and No. 4/2565 (southern provinces and Bangkok). The meeting took place online at the Ministry of Labour Inspector-General’s office, 8th floor, Ministry of Labour.
The meeting monitored the performance according to the Narcotics Prevention and Suppression Action Plan 2022 in the central and southern provinces and Bangkok. It covered the situation of drug problems in the area, including issues, problems, obstacles, and impacts from the COVID-19 situation, and problems and obstacles in drug prevention and suppression operations. It also covered issues, recommendations, and guidelines for drug prevention and suppression operations in the central and southern provinces and Bangkok.
