          Mr. Ananchai Uthaiwattanachep, General Secretary of the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare revealed that H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo said the prevention and resolution of human trafficking was one of the urgent policies of the Ministry of Labor. One of the key mechanisms in doing so is the Labor Inspectorate. It is responsible for overseeing workers’ rights as required by law. In order to make this operation more efficient, the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare has organized training to increase the effectiveness of law enforcement for labor inspectors in both central and regional to have knowledge Understanding the relevant laws, guidelines, and statements, including techniques and psychology, to build knowledge and understanding with employers and employees in the exercise of the rights and duties required by law to ensure the implementation of labor protection. This has resulted in the effective and effective prevention and correction of human trafficking.
          Mr. Ananchai added: this qualitative labor inspector training was held from July 9 to 14, 2018. There were 50 labor inspectors in the central and regional levels. The Department of Labor Protection and Welfare was cooperated with the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare. Both public and private sectors, such as the ILO, the Labor Court of Appeal, the Human Trafficking Division, The Office of the Attorney General, Office of Juvenile and Family Litigation, and Department of Mental Health participating in the training of labor inspectors.
