From June 9-13, 2013, Mr. Winai Luewirojin, Deputy Director-General of Department of Employment, Mr. Cherdsak Wisutthikul, Director of Inspection and Job Seekers Protection Division, and five concerned officials visited Thai trainees at IM Japan’s recipient firms in Japan. On June 9, 2013, Mr. Winai gave a lecture to 18 Thai trainees before their work at Minami Kashiwa Training Center in Chia Prefecture and visited Kawaguchi Bankin in Saitama Prefecture to meet with 24 Thai trainees and to get information about requirement for accepting Thai trainees from the owner. On June 10, 2013, the Thai officials were briefed about the protection of labour and work safety at Office of Labour Affairs in Japan and paid a courtesy call on Mr. Kyoei Yanagisawa, Chairman of IM Japan, at IM Japan headquarter in Tokyo. Then, they visited Osaka city to meet Thai trainees at IM Japan’s recipient firms.
