Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Singhadet Chu-umnart as the leading Thai representative, alongside Assistant Permanent Secretary Mr. Somsak Apiwantonkul and committee joined the ASEAN Senior Labour Officials’ Retreat from 25-26 August 2017 in Manila, the Philippines. The retreat discussed the drafting of pending articles to draft the ASEAN document which included general provisions, definitions, obligations of sending and receiving countries and the legal status of the draft document.
