“Gen. Adul” met Thai people in the city of Bern and reiterates their experience in foreign countries to develop our country.

          On June 3, 2018, Maj. Gen. Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor, along with Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labor and the delegation, visited the post-part-time consular service at the Royal Thai Embassy in Bern, this opportunity was met by 40 Thai people who came to the service. Executive Secretary of Labor to the people of Thailand to stay in Switzerland.

         The purpose of this trip is to discuss the 107th ILC meeting in Thailand. The International Labor Organization (ILO) and the government’s policy under the leadership of General Prayut Chan-ocha, Prime Minister of Thailand by creating harmony and reform to keep up with changes in the future, to step away from the middle income trap. Thailand is 4.0, as well as a stable, prosperous, and sustainable country based on the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy.
         Gen. Adul also mentions the 20-year national strategy, which the government is developing. All six areas, including special economic zone development and EEC, focus on 10 target industries, over 400 amendments, and reiterated that Thailand has evolved to address the current labor situation with more than 38 workers. Millions of Thai workers work in foreign countries, about four hundred thousand of whom are able to earn over one billion baht in the country.
         “Let the Thai know, they know us by learning the culture, traditions, beliefs, laws, as well as learning the languages of different countries. Because each country is not the same, I ask everyone to study and adapt, as well as the knowledge and experience of working and living abroad to bring back the country,” Gen. Adul said in the end.
