Gen. Adul rehearsal of OSS Phase 2 Operation Center before opening the first day on April 23

          The Minister of Labor, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, presided over the meeting of the OSS and the center for proof of citizenship at the Conference Room, 5th Floor, Ministry of Labor. He has given the guidelines to the head of the center. The principle of work is focused on the people and the principles of good governance to make the service history records are convenient and confident in transparency with effective management. The four OSS centers in Bangkok are the Ministry of Labor, the Department Store located at Hew Seng Thonburi, Sirindhorn Hospital on Soi Onnuch 90 and Allland Park, Kalpapruek Road. There are 158,011 migrant workers. There were 120,692 citizens and 37,319 non-citizens. This group will work at the OSS from April 23 to May 31, 2018. It will be able to service an average of 1,000 per day per center, while those who are not yet naturalized will have to prove their nationality and health check-up before completion at OSS center by June. It is expected that this approach will be able to register the remaining foreign workers to complete the work by June 30, 61.

 

          H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo also commented on the practice of the OSS centers in 76 provinces, saying that migrant workers who have passed the nationality verification and health examination can immediately access the OSS process. Proof of nationality and health check must be completed prior to the OSS process and assigned to each province to develop a work plan identifying the number of individual workers nationality. The plan will also be prepared for those who will be using the service at each stage, and the Department of Employment will be responsible for arranging mobile services to operate in provinces with large numbers of foreign workers. The OSS will also be monitored throughout the country at the laboratory on 5th floor of the Ministry of Labor.
