Gen. Adul went to Udon Thani to create a kitchen manager to grow a business for Thai kitchen to the world kitchen

          On April 23, 2018, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor, visited the training course on advanced skills in kitchen management for food business at the Institute of Skill Development, 18 Udon Thani. Mr. Suthi Sukosol, Director General, Department of Skill Development Ministry of Labour, along with senior executives, Ministry of Labor joined in with this. The training of the food industry / Thai kitchen to the world kitchen in Udon Thani has a target of 7,760 people. The performance from October 1, 2017- April 22, 2018, was found that 5,077 people were trained, 65% were employed, 75% had an average income of 12,600 baht / month. Training courses included food management and nutrition on board, Thai cuisine, international cuisine, halal food, healthy food, and innovative Thai food.

 

          Mr. Suthi Sukosol, Director-General of Department of Skill Development, said that the Department of Skill Development’s mission is to develop the capacity of the labor force and the elderly to have knowledge, ability, and skill. The key is to meet the needs of the labor market. This will help raise the level of Thai restaurants both domestically and internationally to be internationally recognized. It leads to the increase of labor force, industry and service to Thailand 4.0. The food industry is now the main source of income of the country. It is over 400 billion each year.
          At the same time, the Skill Development Institute and the Skill Development Offices nationwide are organizing training courses on Thai cuisine to support Thai kitchen to  the world kitchen projects. Combined courses include kitchen management and material management. It focuses on skill training for workers of all ages or even business owners to apply knowledge to work or a food business to earn a living, extra income, can take care of themselves and their family. It is in line with the policy to increase Thai labor’s potential of H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor.
