Hiroshima Saikaikyo Advisor Gives Donation for Flood Relief in Thailand

            On 22 December 2011, Mr. Kanetsugu Kobayashi, advisor of the Western Part of Japan Overseas’ Operations Supporting Cooperation (Saikaikyo), Hiroshima, an organization accepting technical trainees from Thailand, has come to meet with Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Minister, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo, to give donation for flood relief in Thailand in the amount of JPY 700,275. Mr.

            On 22 December 2011, Mr. Kanetsugu Kobayashi, advisor of the Western Part of Japan Overseas’ Operations Supporting Cooperation (Saikaikyo), Hiroshima, an organization accepting technical trainees from Thailand, has come to meet with Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, Minister, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo, to give donation for flood relief in Thailand in the amount of JPY 700,275. Mr. Suchat Sang-urai, Counselor (labour) of the Office of Labour Affairs in Japan, was present as a witness.
 

 

 

           There are also donations from a number of organizations related to technical traineeship from Thailand aimed to help flood relief efforts. These donations have been sent to the Office of Labour Affairs and have been passed on to the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo, in total JPY 318,000, e.g. JPY 200,000 from AJECO, an organization accepting Thai trainees in Aichi, JPY 68,000 from Business Kouryu Kyoudo Kumiai in Ibaraki, and JPY 50,000 from Taguchi Foundry Co., Ltd.
