HRH Princess Sirindhorn Presents Certificate to Winner of Ancient Thai Rare Kite Contest at Red Cross Fair 2018

             On November 23, 2018 at 17.00 hours, Social Security Academic Ms. Orapin Boonnok from the Bangkok Social Security Office Area 4 was awarded a certificate from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the Red Cross Fair 2018 at Lumphini Park. Ms. Orapin, a representative of the Ministry of Labour, joined the contest of ancient and rare Thai kites at the annual Red Cross Fair 2018 and won the contest, winning 15,000 Baht in prize money. There were more than 10 agencies which participated in the contest, such as the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Chulalongkorn University, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the InterLink Foundation . All kites that entered the contest must be produced by each agency itself and never contested before.
            

          The Red Cross Event 2018 is organized under the theme “the 125th Anniversary of The Thai Red Cross Society, together let’s continue the elegance of giving”  during 23 Nov – 1 Dec 2018 from 10.30 – 22.00 hours at Lumpini Park, Pathumwan, Bangkok. The event is organized in the form of past Red Cross events with charitable activities to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Thai Red Cross Society.
