On April 28, 2022, Ministry of Labour Mr. Suchart Chomklin and Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health co-chaired the opening ceremony of “Kamol FBT Sports Park” to become a new exercise venue and landmark for people of all ages. Khun Kamol Chokpaiboonkit and Khun Paweena Chokpaiboonkit, Chairman and Director of the Thai Football Factory Sporting Goods Co., Ltd., and FBT executives, gave a welcome. Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, Secretariat to the Labour Minister Mr. Suthep Chitvong, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics) Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined the occasion at the Kamol FBT Sports Park, Nong Chok District, Bangkok. Mr. Suchart said that he was very pleased to have attended the opening ceremony of the Kamol FBT Sports Park. The Kamol FBT Sports Park will be another force that will encourage people to play more sports. In addition, the sports park is a new landmark that will support the lifestyle of the city people well. A variety of sports can be enjoyed by all, from 2-year-old children to the elderly who love to exercise. On this occasion, the Labour Minister also presented a certificate of honour to the Thai Football Factory Company. Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. is an establishment to promote and support the mission of the Social Security Office.
Mr. Suchart continued to commend Khun Kamol and Khun Paweena Chokphaiboonkit, the FBT executives behind the success of Thai athletes and sports for over 60 years. They have not only developed Thai sportswear and equipment to the international eye but also see the importance of taking care of Thai people’s health to exercise and develop their abilities and potential to advance into professional sports. This stadium is standardized and certified by the International Federation. He also thanked FBT for developing the sports industry to move forward.
“Today, the Ministry of Labour would like to thank the company’s kindness, the Thai Football Factory or FBT, for continuously cooperating with government policies. The opening of this Kamol FBT Sports Park is a public space for the people. Workers can use this area to their benefit by doing various activities together, especially as a new exercise and recreation place for people of all ages to strengthen their bodies and minds. It also supports the community to build immunity to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, too,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
