Labour Minister Assigns Advisor and Spokesperson to Deliver Relief Bags, Boats, and Mobile Restrooms to Support Flood Victims in Suphanburi

          On December 2, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, and the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, to visit the area to support flood victims with ten mobile restrooms, ten relief bags, and two boats. The first point was at the Ban Bang Ta Than, Moo 2, Bang Ta Than Subdistrict, Song Phi Nong District, Suphanburi Province. The second point was at Ban Phai Do, Bang Takhian Subdistrict, Song Phi Nong District, Suphanburi Province. Suphanburi Provincial Deputy Governor Mr. Chucheep Phongchai and the Song Phi Nong District Chief Mr. Paitoon Wongvirakul were recipients and the Permanent Secretary of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization, the village headman, and heads of the government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Suphan Buri Province also joined the occasion.
          Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wonguswan are concerned for flood victims. Therefore, they instructed all agencies to help flood victims according to their mission. Today, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned her and the spokesperson to visit the area to deliver mobile restrooms, boats, and relief bags to alleviate the suffering of the community members who were impacted by the flooding in Bang Ta Than Subdistrict and Bang Takhian Subdistrict in Song Phi Nong District, Suphanburi Province.
          “Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin expressed his concern and encouragement for the workers affected by the flooding and expressed hope that the situation would return to normal as soon as possible. Mr. Suchart assigned the team and me to visit Suphanburi Province to create morale for everyone and all sectors, including the workforce, volunteer workers, insured persons, people with disabilities, and community members affected by floods in Suphanburi province to overcome this hardship together,” concluded Mrs. Thiwalrat.
