On July 25, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to preside over the project’s opening ceremony in honour of H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, for Phetchaburi provincial labour volunteers to develop their hometowns in 2022. The occasion took place at Wat Phra Roop, Chong Sakae Subdistrict, Mueang Phetchaburi District, Phetchaburi Province. She was also the chairperson of the Phetchaburi subdistrict labour volunteers meeting for July 2022 at the Samakkhitham Conference Room, Phetchaburi Monastic College. This activity was organized by the Phetchaburi Provincial Labour Office to honour His Majesty the King and to provide opportunities for labour volunteers, networks, and community partners from the public and private sectors and the general public to participate in community service. Cleaning activities were organized around the Wat Phra Roop area. Labour volunteers and networks, community leaders, local government organizations, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi Province joined the occasion.
Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government under the leadership of the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of the Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, and the Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin give importance to labour volunteers. They are an important mechanism for linking the Ministry of Labour’s missions to the people in local villages and communities. They deliver information from the Ministry of Labour, creating awareness for people in the community to improve the people’s quality of life. Volunteers are people who sacrificed their time. They are communicated to working for the Ministry of Labour to develop the country towards stability, prosperity, and sustainability.
