Content Description

On April 11, 2022, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, Phetchaburi Social Security Officer Mrs. Rasamee Sujto, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi Province to visit the area, give gifts and build morale for sick insured persons at the King Mongkut’s Hospital and Tha Yang Hospital. Dr. Pichet Huapancharoenkij, Director of King Mongkut’s Hospital in Phetchaburi Province, and Dr. Jatupoom Neelasri, Director of Thayang Hospital, and their teams, gave a welcoming.
Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan said that the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour, are concerned for insured employees who have suffered from harm or illness and pay close attention to caring for them. The Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office strives to take care of insured employees to provide protection and stability at work and give access to rights according to medical service standards. Hospitals have to provide medical services to insured persons 24 hours a day. If an insured person becomes ill or has an accident, they can be admitted to the nearest hospital immediately without being asked for their rights before treatment or the need to pay advances for medical expenses and receive care until treatment. Today, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned her and her team to Phetchaburi Province to visit insured persons and give daily necessities to them at the King Mongkut’s Hospital in Phetchaburi Province and Tha Yang Hospital, Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi Province.
Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan met and thanked the staff and medical personnel from both hospitals. She also supported insured persons to build confidence that the Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office is ready to support and develop a service management system for effective medical treatment. This is an important policy to create satisfaction among insured persons. Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin has expressed concern and encouraged insured persons unwell in the hospital or post-crisis patients, as all insured persons are like family members.
