Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Visit and Encourage Insured Persons with Disabilities and Labour Volunteers Affected by Flooding

         On November 11, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to chair the meeting of the heads of government agencies at the meeting room of the Social Security Office, Phetchaburi Province. The meeting was held before making a visit to encourage insured persons with disabilities and labour volunteers who suffered from floods. Heads of the government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi Province also participated in the visit.
         The Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, revealed that Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin was concerned about employees and insured persons suffering from harm or insecurity to the extent that it caused a disability. He also gives great importance to taking care of the insured persons closely in every aspect; employees/insured persons in danger must not be left behind. Today, she was assigned by the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, to visit Phetchaburi Province to build morale and encouragement for people with disabilities and their families, including labour volunteers and staff affected by the flood situation. The goal of the visit was to build positive feelings and confidence in the social security system. They also acknowledged issues, provided advice on exercising legal rights of persons with disabilities, and monitored the symptoms of illnesses for treatment and rehabilitation of the body and mind.
          The Labour Minister’s Advisor brought necessary supplies to five insured persons with disabilities who are in the care of the Phetchaburi Provincial Social Security Office and two labour volunteers affected by flooding.
