On November 18, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to visit the area observe the provision of second doses of the COVID-19 vaccination service for insured persons under Section 33 at the basement of the Robinson Lifestyle Shopping Center, Phetchaburi Branch, Petchkasem Road, Samor Phlue Subdistrict, Ban Lat District, Phetchaburi Province. Deputy Phetchaburi Provincial Public Health Doctor Dr. Suthat Chaiyos, General Manager of Robinson Lifestyle Phetchaburi Mr. Rithichai Somboonsap Ban Lad Hospital representative Ms. Ladawan Ruangaram, the Social Security Office’s Inspector-General Mrs. Wantana Natthaphunwat, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi Province also participated in this occasion. Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour and Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin, is concerned about the workforce and the general public amid the COVID-19 situation and has made vaccination a national agenda. The Labour Minister assigned the Social Security Office to work with the Ministry of Interior, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the governors of each province, the Ministry of Public Health by the National Health Security Office (NHSO), the Ministry of Finance by Krung Thai Bank and social security network hospitals in both the public and private sectors, to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to insured persons to control the pandemic in factories and workplaces.
“Today, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin has assigned my team and me to visit the area to observe the provision of the second dose of COVID-19 vaccinations for Section 33 insured persons at the basement floor of Robinson Lifestyle Shopping Center, Phetchaburi branch, under the responsibility of the Social Security Office in Phetchaburi Province. A team of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists from Ban Lat Hospital provide the second dose of vaccines to 13,000 insured persons under Section 33 in Phetchaburi Province. The services will take place from November 15 to 24, 2021, whereby all vaccinations will be the AstraZeneca brand. COVID-19 vaccinations for insured persons under Section 33 is one of the Ministry of Labour’s measures for prevention and treatment, expediting vaccinations for insured persons according to government policies to control the spread of COVID-19 and build immunity among the workforce for the business to move forward.
