On July 13, 2021, at 13.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, visited the COVID-19 Vaccination Center for Section 33 Insured Persons in Rayong. Labour Academic Mrs. Vatchana Petchakan also joined the occasion at SCG Chemicals Company Limited, RIL Industrial Estate, Map Ta Phut, Mueang, Rayong. Mr. Surachai said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, has the policy to provide vaccinations as a “National Agenda.” The Ministry of Labour, under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, is concerned for the workforce. Therefore, the Labour Minister assigned the Social Security Office to work with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Public Health by the National Health Security Office (NHSO), the Ministry of Finance by Krung Thai Bank, and both public and private social security networks hospitals to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to insured persons to control the spread of the pandemic in factories and workplaces in provincial economic areas. The effort aims to build immunity against disease for the insured persons, the people around them, and services users for business and the economy to move forward.
