Labour Minister Assigns Deputy Permanent Secretary to Commence Electrical Safety Course to Create a Culture of Workplace Safety

          On August 24, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour and the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar building for the community and opening the training for the “Doing Good for Father” project for the fifth year, and the eighth class on the Safety on Electricity and Energy Cutting Course with LOTO Devices. The President of the Rayong Workplace Safety Association, Mr. Surasak Tubeklin, along with the management of Piyamanee Group Co., Ltd., gave a welcome at Piyamanee Group Co., Ltd., located at 52/40, Wat Khod Hin-Khao Phai Road, Thap Ma Subdistrict, Mueang District, Rayong Province.
          Mr. Wannarat said that the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, emphasizes strengthening Thai society as a preventive culture for occupational safety, health, and sustainable well-being. The efforts drive the three values to create a preventive Thai culture: awareness, correct discipline, and care. Today, he was assigned to Rayong province to commence the seminar on building the community and opening the training for the “Doing Good for Father” project for the fifth year and the eighth class on the Safety on Electricity Course. There were 120 participants in the training organized by the Rayong Provincial Safety Association. The association aims to campaign to promote and develop a body of knowledge for officials at all levels and the general public.
          Mr. Wannarat continued that the organization of activities to promote occupational safety, health, and working environment of the Rayong Workplace Safety Association aimed to encourage business establishments to work safety management following the ministerial regulations stipulating standards for the administration, management, and operation of occupational safety, health, and environment, concerning fire prevention and suppression, B.E. 2555.
