On December 27, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, and the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Orathep Intarasakul to join the Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan’s delegation in Nakhon Ratchasima Province to visit community enterprises, farms, mixed plantations, farmers, and the Chong Pattana Foundation to grant rights to arable land according to the sufficiency economy philosophy. They also visited the construction site of a dam to protect the riverbank. Heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour welcomed the delegation.
Mr. Boonchob said that today, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned him to visit Nakhon Ratchasima Province, together with the delegation of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who supervises the Ministry of Labour. The delegation visited community enterprises, farms, mixed plantations, farmers, and the Chong Pattana Foundation to grant rights to arable land according to the sufficiency economy philosophy. They also visited the construction site of a dam to protect the riverbank, which is one of the solutions to the problem of arable land, housing, and poverty to reduce inequality. The project also helps build stability and sustainability to promote a strong foundation economy by applying the sufficiency economy philosophy and the new theory of agriculture as a guideline for living, self-reliance, and sustainability.
The Permanent Secretary of Labour said that the Ministry of Labour has emphasized to the heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Nakhon Ratchasima Province to consider the relevant tasks to support its missions, especially the creation of workers and equality. It works towards upgrading skills to have a variety that can be applied to careers in changing situations. The Ministry of Labour has missions in recruiting, skill development, welfare and protection for formal and informal workers, and social security benefits. The Ministry of Labour has agencies in every province to serve the people to receive services thoroughly. This will be one of the mechanisms driving the country to be stable, prosperous, and sustainable.
