Labour Minister Bids Farewell to Cambodian Ambassador on Completion of Tenure

         On December 28, 2018, at 09.00 hours, Labour Minister H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark and committee welcomed Cambodian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary H.E. Mr. Long Visalo and committee, to bid farewell on his completion of tenure. The occasion took place at the Labour Minister’s reception room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
         H.E. Mr. Long Visalo was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Thailand from September 7, 2007. As for cooperation between Thailand and Cambodia, there are 653,124 Cambodian nationals with work permits who remain throughout the Kingdom. There has also been the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on Labour Cooperation (MOU), a Thailand-Cambodia Employment Agreement and a Thai-Cambodian Border Crossing Agreement, which allowed Cambodian workers to enter Thailand on a daily or seasonal basis within agreed areas including Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket, Surin, Buriram, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi and Trat.
