Labour Minister Chairs Merit-Making Ceremony on the National Labour Day

On May 1, 2024, at 07.30 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, presided over the merit-making ceremony for nine monks on National Labour Day. Somdet Phra Maha Ratchamongkol Muni (Chao Khun Thongchai) from Wat Traimit Wittayaram Worawihan presided over the ceremony from the monk’s side.

On this occasion, the Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mr. Thanat Thaweekueakulkit, the Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, the Ministry of Labour’s spokesperson, Mr. Phumiphat Mueanchan, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined the ceremony at the city square, Bangkok City Hall.

Then there was a procession to honour His Majesty the King, with a procession of executives and officials of the Ministry of Labour and a procession of workers. The processions moved out of the crossroad area at Rajadamnern Nok Road and moved to the city square, Bangkok City Hall.
