Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin joined Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan’s delegation on a government inspection of Nonthaburi Province. Nonthaburi Provincial Governor Mr. Sujin Chaichumsak gave a welcoming. The Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on Politics), Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, Advisor to the Labour Minister Mr. Chamlong Chuayrod, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mrs. Darunee Nithithaweekul, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, and heads of government agencies from the Ministry of Labour in Nonthaburi Provinces gave a welcoming. This visit monitored the water situation and the Phra Phimon Canal development plan for the Nonthaburi – Nakhon Pathom Provinces, 2022 – 2027. The delegation also listened to the presentation on the role, and participation of network partners in the Khlong Phra Phimon area, joined the community products exhibition and met with the people in the area. The occasion took place at the Sai Yai Temple, Sai Noi Subdistrict, Sai Noi District, and Nonthaburi Province.
On this occasion, General Prawit met with the heads of government agencies, community representatives, and informal workers’ groups. He encouraged the leaders of subdistrict labour volunteers in Nonthaburi Province, who welcomed the delegation. Labour volunteers are key in linking the Ministry of Labour’s mission to the area. They have sacrificed themselves for the public and work closely with people in the community in coordinating labour services and delivering them to provide people with jobs, skills, occupations, income, protection, and sustainable social security.
Mr. Suchart said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, are focused on enhancing the participation of network partners in community areas. They aim to strengthen and upgrade the quality of life of the workforce. The Ministry of Labour has worked with various agencies to promote employment among the people. They focus on skills development to improve competence, welfare, and protection and provide a guarantee for stability in life, in line with the government’s policy that aims to drive the economic foundations without leaving anyone behind.
