The Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson said that in addition to the job application zone, there is also an open house activity zone featuring ten educational institutions, 15 career showcases, 15 inspirational careers, professional readiness testing, career counseling clinics, and an independent occupation demonstration zone for 73 occupations. The working group is driving the One Tambon One Independent Career Project, leading a group of independent professionals of older people who use their wisdom to create products from five provinces, including Buriram, Uthai Thani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Surat Thani joining the exhibition. “Mr. Phiphat has pushed forward the policy to ensure full employment for Thai people, which is in line with the government’s approach to drive the economy and promote employment. This year, the Ministry of Labor has already secured jobs within the country for 867,325 people, which is 117.02% of the target of 741,000 people. As for expanding the labor market abroad, with a target of 100,000 people, 61,472 people have been employed so far, which is 61.47%. It is believed that in the remaining half of the year, we will be able to send approximately 8,000 Thai workers abroad per month, thus meeting our set target,” said Mr. Phumiphat.
