Labour Minister Prepares to Visit Nakhon Sawan to Prepare Workforce for Economic Growth

The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General and spokesperson Mr. Ananchai Uthaipatanacheep revealed that on 23 June 2017 Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul and committee will visit Nakhon Sawan to follow up progress on workforce preparations in support of the economy amidst logistics in the lower Northern and upper middle region. Logistics in the region comprises road, rail and water transportation to attract investment and improve the quality of the local people.
    Mr. Ananchai continued, saying that in the morning session the Labour Minister would listen to feedback on obstacles faced and suggestions from the private sector, academics and other relevant units. The Labour Minister will also present working guidelines to leaders of the ministry’s affiliated units in the 4 provinces which Nakhon Sawan, Kampaengphet, Pichit and Uthai Thani; the meeting will take place in room 501 at the Nakhon Sawan City hall. In the afternoon, the Labour Minister will chair the ceremony on receiving the training center for vehicle painters from Nippon Pain Thailand, followed by a visit to Environment Pulp and Paper in Ta Klee district.
    “In addition to this, the Labour Minister will visit the project initiated between the Department of Skills Development and Military Circle 31, which focuses on training military before decommissioning, in order to prepare them for the workforce. The training has 4 syllabuses which includes basic vehicle maintenance, aluminum framing and gypsum ceiling installations, electric wiring and air conditioning maintenance,” concluded Mr. Ananchai.
