Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul is prepared to visit South Korea’s Minister of Employment and Labour from 8-11 February 2017 upon invitation. The meeting will include a discussion on improving the arrangement of workers under the EPS system, in order to maintain Thai workers’ interest in South Korea. The key agendas will include effective improvement to the EPS system, resolution to illegal migration of Thai workers, a study of relevant units such as the foreign worker training center and recruitment services, and a visit to Thai workers in various communities such as Thai temples. The meeting aims to enhance efficiency of the EPS system and directions on resolution of illegal workers in Thailand.
