On April 20, 2025, at 13.30 hours, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour, chaired the meeting of the heads of departments under the Ministry of Labour in Trang Province to inspect, follow up and drive 100 percent of foreign workers in the social security system. Mr. Songklod Sawangwong, Governor of Trang Province, welcomed the delegation. Mr. Phuchong Worasri, assigned to the Office of the Prime Minister and currently serving at the Ministry of Labour, Air Chief Marshal Athikun Kongmee, Advisor to the Minister on Illegal Worker Management, Mr. Phumipat Mueanchan, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson, and Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, Director-General of the Department of Employment, Mr. Phatthawut Phesala, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Skill Development, Mr. Surasit Srikaew, Deputy Secretary-General of the Social Security Office, and heads of agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Trang Province, joined the meeting at the Trang Skill Development Office meeting room, Kantang District, Trang Province. In Trang Province, there are 14,806 foreign workers, 7,331 of whom have registered as insured persons. Before the meeting, the Minister of Labour and his team viewed the products of occupational groups that have been promoted and supported by agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Trang Province.
