On November 12, 2024, at 16.00 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, and the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Ms. Bunyawee Khaiphan welcomed Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi who presided over the meeting of the Steering Committee of the Campaign Project to Prevent and Solve Drug Problems TO BE NUMBER ONE for the fiscal year 2025. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the Minister of Public Health, Mr. Somsak Thepsuthin, and executives of ministries and related agencies welcomed Her Royal Highness. They joined the meeting at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Health, Nonthaburi Province.
The said meeting has been held annually since 2004. The purpose of this meeting is to allow all agencies involved in the project to report their performance in 2024, policies, and operational plans for 2025 and to enable committees from all sectors to be aware of the operational guidelines and implement them in accordance with Royal initiatives and intentions, to integrate cooperation in project implementation for maximum efficiency, and to exchange operational experiences that will lead to the development of work for efficiency, continuity, and sustainability. The meetings also aim to provide encouragement and support for the committees to work with determination to achieve success in accordance with Her Royal Highness’s guidelines.
