On July 26, 2022, at 13.45 hours, Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, gave a special lecture on “The direction of Thai worker’s development in the 5G era”. He spoke about the trend of Thai industries that will benefit from the workforce digital skills classification framework, guidelines for developing workers’ digital skills, and the plan to develop a training model with digital technology by the Department of Skill Development. He participated in the panel discussion on “The trend of employment amid the fragile economic situation and how businesses should adapt .” Fifty business owners who are members of the Employers’ Confederation of Thai Trade and Industry attended the special lecture, brainstormed, and shared opinions on adapting to economic and social changes. The occasion took place at the Panorama Room 1, 14th floor, The Emerald Hotel, Ratchadaphisek Road, Bangkok.
