The meeting considered important agendas, namely, the framework for implementing the objectives under the MOU of each unit, comprising agencies under the Ministry of Education and agencies under the Ministry of Labour. It considered the requirements of the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Education to jointly develop a Big Data database on the demand and supply of the labour market. It also covered personnel and teacher development, skill assessments, skills assessment centers, the promotion and development of bilateral relations, joint curriculum development with the Department of Skill Development, skills competitions, and employment promotion. This is to drive the operations to achieve the objectives following the policy of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha to accelerate the development of professional skills and promote employment. It gives importance to human resource development at all ages, especially in the workforce, which must develop skills to be in line with the changes in technology. This will reduce the shortage of knowledgeable, competent, and skilled workers, ensuring that their skills meet the needs of the labour market in both quantity and quality.
