During the past month of January, the Labour Office in Riyadh visited Thai workers in Djebal city in the East, a heavy industrial zone in Saudi Arabia and Sakaka city in the Northern region of Saudi Arabia. Members of the Labour Office were warmly welcomed by the Thai workers. On the occasion, the Labour Office and Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh provided consular support to the workers in processing passports in Sakaka city. Advice was also given to all the workers on how to work in accordance to the strict regulations in Saudi Arabia, contacting families on a regular basis, looking after personal health and acting in accordance to the five commandments project. The workers were extremely happy and motivated to receive services and be visited by the officials and officers.
