The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Soothi Sukosol represented Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul at the Regional Parliamentarians’ Conference on Combating Human Trafficking, organized by the Asian Forum of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (AFPPD), which promotes participation of ASEAN and Pacific nations in population and development issues. Its main strategies are focused on gender equality, women rights and support of children and the senior population. The forum was also a regional collaboration on promoting efficiency of parliament in Southern and Southeast Asia to share knowledge, best practices, care and legal and policy compliance.
