Ministry of Labour Instill Core Principles in Staff

            On 9 March 2017 at 09.00, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Singhadet Chu-umnart chaired the preaching sermon by Dr. Praporn Maha Bundit, Abbot of Wat Prayoon Wongsawat Worawihan and President of Chulalongkorn University. The sermon took place at the Jompol P. Pibulsongkram Conference Room at the Ministry of Labour.

 

 

            The sermon was a start on promoting transparency and honesty within the Ministry of Labour, making it an organization free of corruption. The sermon promoted honesty, responsibility, sacrifice and ethics as main principles for the ministry’s staff in conducting their personal lives, as well as assigned roles and responsibilities. The theme of the event was “Honesty in Our Father’s Footsteps” which integrated religious teachings and royal words by King Rama 9, to create an awareness of important values among officers and officials in executing the 8+1 action plans for reformation and zero corruption within the ministry.
