Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul, Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti and senior executives led the Ministry of Labour’s team for prayers across the New Year’s, welcoming 2017. The event took place on 31 December 2016 from 20.00 – 00.30 hours on 1 January 2017 at the Rachathiwat Ratchaworawihan temple in the Dusit area of Bangkok.
On 1 January 2016 at 07.20-10.00 hours, the Labour Minister participated in the signing ceremony, blessing his Majesty the King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun on the occasion of the 2017 New Years. On 2 January 2017 at 07.00 at the Dusit Throne Hall, the Labour Minister, the Permanent Secretary of Labour and senior executives led the ministry’s team to host funeral prayers for late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
