On May 19, 2022, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, chaired the 21st Wage Committee Meeting No. 5/2022. The meeting acknowledged the economic and labour situation and considered the appointment of a working group to study the hourly employment model. It also covered the guidelines and criteria for reviewing the appropriateness of the provincial minimum wage rate (including Bangkok) for 2022. The meeting took place at the Sangsingkaew Conference Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour, and through the video conferencing system.
