On August 2, 2022, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, chaired the 21st Wage Committee Meeting No. 7/2022. The meeting acknowledged the labour economic situation and considered the determination of the minimum wage rate for 2022. The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s Director-General, Mr. Niyom Songkaew, advisors to the Wage Committee, and employer and employee representatives attended the meeting at the Prasong Rananant meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
