Content Description

On December 7, 2021, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud presided over the opening ceremony of the training course for the development of the Ministry of Labour’s new civil servants, Class 29. The said training aims to instill the philosophy of being a good government official and developing civil service practice skills. The training also aims to promote moral and ethical practices and allow participants to develop their working network. The program focuses on learning from expert speakers’ experiences and studying hands-on practices. The Ministry of Labour’s senior executives attended the meeting at the Jompol P. Phibulsongkram meeting room, 5th Floor, Ministry of Labour.
Ms. Bubpha congratulated all of the Ministry of Labour’s newly recruited officials. She said that at the beginning of a civil servant’s life, everyone must set a firm determination to be a good government official by adapting the royal words of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great and His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua to “continue, preserve, build on, and create happiness for the people” as a guideline for their work. The officials must be responsible for their role, be disciplined, and be determined to perform official duties following government regulations. They must also adhere to ethics and abide by the principle of honesty at the core, considering the benefits and happiness of the people. They also have to continually develop themselves, be eager to learn, and keep up with the movements of various changes in the global society.
The Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour added that she sincerely hopes that all new civil servants will benefit from the training and harvest the knowledge gained from this training as much as possible to develop their work efficiency. Every new government official will be an important force, ready to perform their duties with full pride. They are also an important force in driving the Ministry of Labour’s missions to achieve the goals according to the 20-year National Strategic Plan that will lead Thailand towards “security, prosperity, and sustainability.” She asked everyone to be determined to perform their official duties with honesty and integrity to walk the ethical path and wished everyone continued success with dignity.
The training is scheduled between December 7 to 17, 2021, for nine days at the Jompol P. Phibulsongkram meeting room, 5th Floor, Ministry of Labour, and The Pine Resort Hotel, Pathum Thani Province. The training has changed to a hybrid format, taking place as classroom training and online training via Zoom.
