On October 27, 2020, at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol presided over the seminar’s opening ceremony and to deliver policies and guidelines for good organization management for the 2021 fiscal year at the Prasong Rananant meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. He said that the establishment of good corporate governance policies of the Office of the Permanent Secretary for work should provide clear policy and practice for promoting good governance in the organization and implementing and following up progress with concrete results. It should be used as a guideline for examining good governance in various areas of work of the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labour, and to audit and prohibit any work for personal interests which will cause loss to the state, society, environment, organization, service recipients, stakeholders and employees. He said that the guidelines must consider human rights principles in labour, build acceptance, trust, confidence, and faith in service clients, the general public, and stakeholders both inside and outside the organization. The Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labour, would like to announce good corporate governance policies to guide agencies under the Office of the Permanent Secretary, to prepare measures, projects, and activities to support and lead them into action until achieving concrete results, which can be monitored and evaluated.
In addition, the Permanent Secretary of Labour awarded 16 personnel/agencies committed to developing public administration of the Office of the Permanent Secretary.
