On January 31, 2022, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, the Social Security Office’s Spokesperson Ms. Ladda Saelee, and relevant persons welcomed representatives from the National Informal Workers Coordination Center at the Prasong Rananant Conference Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. They thanked the representatives for helping informal workers and elderly workers for the rights of insured persons under Section 39 (medical expenses, disability compensation, and death allowance), including the issue of the old-age pension.
The Permanent Secretary of Labour said that Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin has a good understanding of the problems affecting all workers. Therefore, he asked them to be confident that the Ministry of Labour will give importance to the issue and try to expedite the relevant actions for the maximum benefit of the workforce.
