Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Samat Pattamasukon and representatives from agencies under the Ministry of Labour participated in the discussion at the Prasong Rananant meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
The project is new academic cooperation with the International Labour Organization. This is against the backdrop of many female workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic due to lockdowns and homeschooling. The project duration is 13 months (January 2022 – January 2023). The goal is to collaborate and support tripartite representatives in investments that respond to gender issues in the care economy, to solve demand and supply problems. It also aims to identify and correct gaps in policies, investments, service laws, skill development, and decent work.
