On March 9, 2022, Advisory Board Member to the Minister of Labour, Mr. Natthawat Teeratathamrong, participated in the meeting to explain the actions to promote education and employment for students and workers of all levels. The occasion occurred at the Charoen Thani Hotel, Khon Kaen, Mueang Khon Kaen District, Khon Kaen Province.
Mr. Natthawat said that the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Education, by Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin and Education Minister Ms. Trinuch Thienthong, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on promoting education and employment for students and workers of all levels on January 19. Both agencies have jointly driven the cooperation following the related missions.
Mr. Natthawat said that today, he represented the Ministry of Labour. He said that Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin emphasized the Prime Minister’s policy in accelerating professional skills development and promoting employment. He gives importance to human resource development at all ages. The focus is especially on the workforce, who must develop skills to be in line with the changes in technology to reduce the shortage of knowledgeable, competent, and skilled workers, ensuring skills that meet the needs of the labour market in both quantity and quality.
