On February 2, 2022, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, chaired the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Subcommittee Meeting No. 1/2022. The meeting acknowledged the results of the action plan for the 2021 fiscal year considered the (draft) action plan for people with disabilities in the workforce for the 2022 fiscal year. In addition, the meeting jointly reviewed the subcommittees under the National Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (NEPD), including recommendations on the Thai Retailer Association’s guidelines for the employment of persons with disabilities. Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, Mr. Nanthachai Panyasurarit, and representatives from related agencies attended the meeting at the Prasong Rananant Meeting Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour, via the Zoom Meeting system.
