Today (21 June 2017) Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti assigned Inspector-General Mr. Soothi Sukosol as chairman of the project commencement ceremony on computer and network training integration, in support of the Thailand 4.0, to officers from the Permanent Secretary’s office from both central and provincial regions at the Technology Development and Services Center in Phranakhon Rajabhat University. The computer training has the objective of providing technical knowledge and developing problem solving skills, understanding how to present information through websites and maintaining computers and networks for efficient operations. The training also teaches about internet safety and compliance with the Computer-Related Crime Act.
“The training supports the globes rapid changes, which has caused Thailand to adapt itself to become more competitive starting from the foundation to future planning in order to drive the nation towards a Thailand 4.0. The government has given great importance to technological advancement in the Ministry of Labour which will equip all officers and officials with contemporary technological know-how in support of national strategies,” said Mr. Soothi.
