On March 17, 2022, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to join Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan’s delegation on the occasion of meeting the people and donating survival bags to help victims of the COVID-19 pandemic at Saman Rattanaram Temple, Bang Kaeo Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chachoengsao Province. Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office performing duties for the Ministry of Labour Police Major General Nantachat Supamongkol, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, heads of government agencies from the Ministry of Labour in Chachoengsao and related agencies also joined the occasion. On the visit, General Prawit met and encouraged the labour volunteers of Chachoengsao Province who came to welcome the visiting delegation. Labour volunteers are an important mechanism linking the Ministry of Labour’s missions to the area. They are people who have sacrificed their devotion to the public and work closely with the people in the community in coordinating labour services to provide people with jobs, skills, occupations, income, protection, and sustainable social security.
Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour, is concerned for the people who have been affected by the COVID-19 situation. On this day, he and his delegation were assigned by the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, to join the Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan’s delegation. He expressed his concern and shared encouragement to the workers, including labour volunteers, civil servants, and officials in the area, and wished them safety amid the COVID-19 situation. He also emphasized strict compliance with the measures prescribed by the Ministry of Public Health to drive the country’s economy forward and overcome the COVID-19 situation together.
