On July 19, 2022, at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, as the chairperson of the Foreign Worker Fund Management Committee for the 2022 Fiscal Year Meeting No. 5/2022. The meeting considered the review of public relations projects to create awareness and understanding of policies on management, import, prevention, and protection of migrant workers’ rights, by the Ministry of Labour’s Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour and the government. It also considered the application for the allocation of funds from the fund by the Department of Employment, the application for the allocation of funds from the fund by the National Police, and programs to prevent and resolve forced labour or service problems that may arise from the violation of migrant workers by the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour. The occasion took place at the Tian Achakul Conference Room, 10th floor, Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour.
