On February 23, 2022, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, and the Ministry of Labour’s senior executives explained the Draft Informal Worker Quality of Life Development and Promotion Act B.E….to the Council of State, Council 9. The meeting was via electronic media at the Prasong Rananant meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The meeting clarified the necessity of proposing the Draft Informal Worker Quality of Life Development and Promotion Act B.E…., important project plans, and the benefits expected from the law. The Cabinet passed the draft bill as a resolution on December 28, 2021, to approve the draft bill proposed by the Ministry of Labour, to be sent to the Office of the Council of State for further consideration.
