On March 21, 2022, at 10.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, to join the National Fisheries Committee Meeting No. 2/202 via Zoom. Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan chaired the meeting. The meeting’s important agenda included acknowledging the results of the 5th meeting of the Royal Thai Government and the European Commission on Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing, or the 5th IUU Fishing Meeting. The meeting considered the Fisheries Management Policies and Plans 2023 – 2027, including guidelines and measures to develop fisheries in Thailand to ensure aquatic animals and aquatic products are free from illegal fishing or IUU fishing. The meeting took place at the Saengsingkaew Conference Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
